Campus & Community Involvement
Our sisters are proud to support our national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House. These houses provide a “home away from home” for families who have children in the hospital and relieve some of the pressures of having a child in the hospital by providing a safe and welcoming environment for families to come to while their child is being cared for. Each fall, our chapter holds an all you can eat pancake feast which we call PiHop. Our feast is held at our sorority house and open to the public to come by to grab some great food and help us support Ronald McDonald House!
This year we celebrated our First Annual ADPi Kinda Guy Contest for Ronald McDonald House! The fraternities on our campus competed in a week long competition involving Pasta with the Pi's, Pi a Guy, and ADPi Kinda Guy Pageant. We raised over $5,000 with the competition. After we combined our totals from the ADPi Kinda Guy, Teeter Totter, PiHop, and Share-a-Heart, we raised $10,00, overall, this school year.
An Adelphean woman can be found involved in almost any organization on campus, our sisters are involved in many organizations: MSU University Ambassadors. SOAR Leaders, SGA, Centennial Leaders, Panhellenic Coucil, Maroon Madness, Order of Omega, StuMo, Honors College, The Vine, The Odessey, Bear Breaks, I'm First, and SMSTA to only name a few.
